In this portion of Hosea's prophecy the Lord says He will speak directly to the harlot's heart to allure her away from her idols so that she would call Him "Ishi", "My Husband". We consider how the Lord draws His elect by making them see Jesus as the One who becomes to them the 'fairest of the sons of men; grace is poured out upon your lips", causing the harlot to abandon her idols and repent of her sin.
