On today's program, we will walk through an article by the late Dr. Meredith Kline titled "Covenant Theology Under Attack" found in its entirety here: https://meredithkline.com/klines-works/articles-and-essays/covenant-theology-under-attack-full/ The introduction of grace into the pre-fall covenant of works God instituted and entered into with Adam and all of Adam's posterity in him is, to quote Kline, "an error of massive proportions." The odd Federal Vision aversion to any concept of "merit" results in the total destruction of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Kline writes: "The ultimate refutation of Fuller’s theology is that it undermines the gospel of grace. All the arguments employed by Fuller and sympathizers to prove that Adam could not do anything meritorious would apply equally to the case of Jesus, the second Adam."
