The Bible is replete with incredible promises, but one of the sweetest has to be Jesus’s words in Matthew 28:20 20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. — “I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Do you really believe that? When joys and laughter greet your journey, Jesus rejoices with you. And when sorrow and tears beset your way, Jesus grieves with you. The one who “upholds the universe by the word of his power” is with you ( Hebrews 1:3 3 who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; ). When you trust him, he stands by you and strengthens you so that you will never know what it is to be alone.
