Pilgrim’s Progress Lecture: Mr. Fearing - Tom Sullivan / Puritan Reformed Audio Books In this lesson, as a companion to the study of Little Faith, we discussed a character from Bunyan’s second part – Mr. Fearing. “It took him a whole month,” tells Greatheart, “to face the Slough. But he would not go back neither. Till, one sunshiny morning, nobody ever knew how, he ventured, and so got over. But the fact of the matter is,” said the shrewd-headed guide, “Mr. Fearing had, I think, a slough of despond in his own mind; and a slough that he carried everywhere with him.” Whyte, Alexander Characters in Pilgrim’s Progress John Bunyan wrote The Pilgrim's Progress in two parts, of which the first appeared at London in 1678,which he had begun during his imprisonment in 1676. The second part appeared in 1684. The earliest edition in which the two parts were combined in one volume came out in 1728. A third part falsely attributed to Bunyan appeared in 1693. The Pilgrim's Progress is the most successful allegory ever written, and like the Bible has been extensively translated into other languages. http://www.puritanaudiobooks.net/ SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/user/stack45ny Puritan Reformed Audiobooks playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzOwqed_gET1LMZlDNOqxx58LREHCiLsD -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "What Do You Want? - Oswald Chambers / Christian Devotional / My Utmost for His Highest" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DDzA9Ymtck -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
