And he answered, Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste, ) Today we will look at the many times in biblical history and recent church history that calls from faithful men to the church to repent have fallen on deaf ears. The church today, perhaps more than ever, is on the precipice of a theological dark age. Some think we're already in it. The time for doctrinal reformation is now. The need for God to bring true revival through that doctrinal reformation is greater now than perhaps it has ever been. We will look also at the 1996 Cambridge Declaration - a call to the church to repent of its worldliness, recover and confess the truths of God's word as did the reformers, and to see that true embodied in doctrine, practice, and life - also fell for the most part on deaf ears.
