Pilgrim’s Progress Lecture: The Flatterer and the Atheist - Tom Sullivan / Puritan Reformed Audio Books In this study, we have come to the place where Christian and Hopeful are deceived by the Flatterer. A modern illustration is drawn by this character to the teaching of the proponents of the Federal Vision or Auburn Avenue Theology and the redefining of the doctrine of justification by faith. Finally, we discuss the encounter with Atheist. John Bunyan wrote The Pilgrim's Progress in two parts, of which the first appeared at London in 1678,which he had begun during his imprisonment in 1676. The second part appeared in 1684. The earliest edition in which the two parts were combined in one volume came out in 1728. A third part falsely attributed to Bunyan appeared in 1693. The Pilgrim's Progress is the most successful allegory ever written, and like the Bible has been extensively translated into other languages. http://www.puritanaudiobooks.net/ SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/user/stack45ny Puritan Reformed Audiobooks playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzOwqed_gET1LMZlDNOqxx58LREHCiLsD -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "A Call to Separation - A.
