Craving praise is a form of bondage. The need to be liked, approved, and applauded can quietly control your life, and it never satisfies. It gives a fleeting high, then leaves you emptier than before. But when you’ve tasted the beauty and approval of God in Christ, that addiction begins to break. His “well done” is the only praise that truly sets you free.
