Pilgrim’s Progress Lecture: Beulah Land / Puritan Reformed Christian Audio / Tom Sullivan In this lesson, we look at the pilgrim’s entering into Beulah Land, a place where they could have a fortaste of glory and be at a distance from Giant Despair’s castle and The Valley of the Shadow of Death. We learned of the story of The Dairyman’s Daughter, who died in 1801, the death of Edward Payson, a story also from Archibald Alexander was read. Finally, I talked about a friend who passed away 4 years ago this week and what a remarkable servant he was, though he was a quadriplegic. John Bunyan wrote The Pilgrim's Progress in two parts, of which the first appeared at London in 1678,which he had begun during his imprisonment in 1676. The second part appeared in 1684. The earliest edition in which the two parts were combined in one volume came out in 1728. A third part falsely attributed to Bunyan appeared in 1693. The Pilgrim's Progress is the most successful allegory ever written, and like the Bible has been extensively translated into other languages. http://www.puritanaudiobooks.net/ SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/user/stack45ny Puritan Reformed Audiobooks playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzOwqed_gET1LMZlDNOqxx58LREHCiLsD -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "A Call to Separation - A.
